WRDSB Lowers Flags for Orlando

We are all saddened by the tragic events that took place this past weekend in Orlando, Florida. To show support for all those affected, including our LGBTQ students and staff, families and allies, we will be lowering our flags at our schools and Education Centre, until the end of the day on June 17.

Hello Families, The Campers have stopped at En Route just outside of Barrie. (1:30 pm)  They are making good time.  I’ll keep you posted as I know you’re very excited to hear all about their adventures.

Good Morning Wabanaki Campers

Good Morning Wabanaki Campers.  No one made it to the morning swim today.  The Campers are up and packing for their trip home after another great breakfast.  This morning they’ll participate in the WAB Challenge.

Wonderful Day at Camp Wabanaki

Campers enjoyed swimming this afternoon and a hike after pizza dinner.  The scenery is breathtaking.  They are getting ready for campfire and snack.  Sounds like there are a few bugs out tonight.   I’m sure they will all sleep well tonight.   Your Campers are having an amazing time so sleep well families. We’ll chat again […]

Today’s Activities at Camp Wabanaki

The sun is shinning at Camp Wabanaki!  Campers are enjoying a variety of activities today:  Kayaking, Orienteering, Initiative Tasks, Canoeing and Nature Skills.  Lunch was a cook-out and then they played Capture the Flag.  Everyone is doing well and are excited to show you pictures of their adventures.
